From Crystal Dreams CD

06 November 2009

Linda C. M. Griffiths designs beautiful files. I just had to buy her Crystal Dreams CD the day it was released. I like Linda's designs as they are pretty by themselves and I can get away with not decorating them. The link to buy the disc is here and to look at better examples of some of the great templates on the disc are shown on Linda's site.
The butterfly is my favourite and I have cut them out as the favour box, the cupcake wrapper and as single butterflies to add to my cards. Below are a few of my attempts. The first two are cut on the same pattern of double sided cardstock which is green on one side and has a multi-coloured spot design on the other side. All I did was add a bit of glitter glue to the cut out pieces. Foolproof for people like me.

This is my attempt at one of the 3d wedding cakes. It was fun to make but next time I will ensure I have tiny flowers to glue onto the cake to make it look more like a wedding cake. All I could find was ribbon and beads to trim it. The total height is less than two inches.
